Okay, first of all, the colors in this are gorgeous. That usually doesn’t matter to me but it was just so pretty as I was mixing it all together. So that’s the most important thing.
Normally, I don’t go for the whole “cook this grain and then let it cool for a salad” thing because I prefer warm food, but segmenting four oranges takes a long time so the quinoa and red rice had plenty of time to cool. This was actually really good, though, especially if you manage a bite with orange and date in it at the same time. By the end of my bowl I was a little tired of it, but my sister was super happy and it had good flavors. Apart from segmenting four oranges, the prep was very easy, too.
